Jobs
Are you the kind of person that lives for doing cool stuff with computers and Internet? Does your living room/dinning room/basement have a pile of hoarded gear? Do you think computer science professors need to be put out of their misery because they neither know nor care about the technologies, methodologies and processes currently in use (not to mention what is coming down the pike)? Do you cringe whenever you hear another so-called "expert" swoon over Twitter, SEO, Social Marketing or apps while ignoring the fact that it is the Internet and hosting infrastructure that allows it all to exist? If so, then Zubr Communications may just be the kind of company you want to work for - a company that solves the real problems faced by Internet-centric businesses 24 hours a day 7 days a week by marrying operations and development of clever software, services and procedures.
As the company Zubr Communications was, and still is, on the forefront of the DevOps movement, it should come as no surprise that unless explicitly stated otherwise every position is DevOps-style. This means:
- Every position requires on-call availability 24x7 for emergencies
- Every position requires participation in operations
- Every position requires some development/programming skills or a strong desire to rapidly learn the needed skills
- Every position requires ability to rapidly access Zubr Communications local installations
To apply for any of these positions, please send a plain-text email to jobs@zubrcom.net telling us about how awesome you are and why we should hire you. It is highly recommended that you include links to the code you wrote, websites you develop or maintain, blogs you write, Google searches on interesting subjects that yield your name, and links to your publicly accessible Facebook profile. Your resume should be provided either via a link or PDF attachment.
