Zami 2.0 adds support for dedicated servers
August 23, 2010 - Zubr Communications announces the general availability of real-time quotation, configuration, provisioning, and order management of dedicated servers via its Zami 2.0 web-based interface. With this release of Zami, customers of Zubr Communications are able to spec-out, configure, and order dedicated servers for immediate delivery regardless of the complexities of the server and service package without any need to interact with sales personnel.
"Considering what we do is provide elegant, if not to say radical, solutions for the internet-centric world, it would have been illogical not to radically address the service quotation, configuration and management portion of the game. Let's face it - only those who can't figure out how to translate the business process into a perfectly expandable matching system have to resort to Salesforce, hosted CRMs, shopping carts, or other systems like that. While those systems may be cute and even utilize the most up-to-date industry buzz-words, usage of such systems clearly demonstrates that the service provider does not know what it is doing. Yesterday, Zami could do only colo. Now it can do colo and dedicated servers," said Alex Yuriev, Chief Technology Officer of Zubr Communications.
